Our Story

Askari Trading and Engineering Company (ATEC) is combination of different types of Businesses & Engineering Services since 2008 but it is well known throughout the country for its active role in oil and gas sector as well as for Civil Engineering Works.

ATEC has been providing technical inspection, evaluation, testing, commissioning and consultancy services to various sectors of Oil and Gas industry for more than a decade locally and internationally.

We have wide experience of technical audits and inspection of plants during eraction, pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning phases of the various types of equipment and machinery like captive power plants, generators, boilers, pressure vessels, compressors, and heat exchangers related to the Power plants and Oil and Gas industry.

In Oil and Gas field as well as for power plants we have also been providing inspections services for consultancy, installation, designing, fabrication, manufacturing, calibration, maintenance, high pressure devices testing & trainings etc.

We also have the designing and fabrication capabilities for the hydro testing equipment used in Oil and gas sector. We have designed and fabricated a complete hydro testing facility for the SCME lab NUST H-12 Islamabad in 2015 with following distinctions:

• i. This hydraulic bench is made from the locally available recourses. Power Team Hydraulic pump was purchased from Lahore. Pressure gauges were purchased from Faisalabad. Water jacket & parts of hydraulic bench were fabricated in local market of Rawalpindi.
• ii. Australian Standard AS 2030-1989 for the testing of CNG cylinder (how to test CNG cylinders) was used as a reference standard for the testing of CNG cylinders.
• iii. Australian Standard, AS 2337.1-2004 for Gas Cylinder Test Stations (how to make a cylinder test station) was used as a reference standard for the test station of CNG cylinders.
• iv. This hydraulic bench is very economical as compared to the hydraulic bench available in local & international market. Price of local & international available hydraulic benches ranges from 4 to 6 millions. Total expenses of this locally made hydraulic bench are 0.2 million.
• v. This hydraulic bench can build pressure up to 700 bars. Working pressure of CNG cylinders is 200 bars while testing pressure of CNG cylinder is 1.5 times its working pressure. So this hydraulic bench can test more than one cylinder connected through manifold at a time.
• vi. Pressure gauges of captive power plants, boilers, generators and CNG compressors having pressure range up to 700 bars can also be tested and calibrated from the same hydraulic system.
• vii. Pressure relief valves can also be calibrated & tested from this hydraulic bench.
• viii. High pressure lines can be easily tested by this hydraulic bench.
• ix. High pressure hoses can also be tested from this hydraulic bench.
• x. Fire extinguishers, LPG and oxygen cylinders can be tested from this hydraulic bench as per related standards.
